January 11th, 2010 - Categories: Sampling progressAs of January 2010, we have reached 400K DNA barcodes of Lepidoptera on BOLD!
With about 37.5K species barcoded, this represents almost a quarter of all described species in the order.
Efforts continue to get the world fauna covered! Regular progress updates will be posted here and in the ‘News and Updates’ of each individual campaign.
List of wanted taxa will also be posted here in the “Moths Wanted” category.
Happy 2010 to All!

November 26th, 2009 - Categories: UncategorizedThe site goes live!
Here we are, the site is now live online for a few days already, replacing the previous All-Leps website.
As expected, we came across a multitude of small and less small glitches, and we already have changed the site structure to facilitate navigation between campaign sites thanks to your feedback.
The feeds from BOLD and the management of campaign checklists aren’t quite working as they should for now, but we are working on it, please be patient…
Happy Thanksgiving to those of you in the US!
Best wishes,
Rodolphe
November 2nd, 2009 - Categories: UncategorizedDear All,
Welcome to the new website for the iBOL Lepidoptera campaign and its taxonomic and geographic sub-campaigns.
To quote our webmaster, there’s plenty of Easter eggs to discover here… and we’ll keep developing it with new sub-campaigns, posting of updates, sample requests, wanting lists, etc.
Please allow us for a couple of weeks of testing and improvement, in particular for the progress reports based on current sampling on BOLD and for the taxonomic checklists which still need to be updated with the newly assembled ones.
Comments are of course welcome!
We hope you will enjoy this site!
